Suspects Arrested for Torching CDF Offices in Demos

Four more suspects linked to an arson incident in which NGCDF offices were looted and torched in Kikuyu Constituency have been arrested and several items recovered from their homes.

One of the suspects, 28-yr-old Samuel Muiri Ruiyi, a driver at a primary school in Nderi area, had a 32″ TV set in recovered before he led police officers to his another suspect, Samuel Wanjohi, 23, who was found in possession of another 32″ Sony TV belonging to the NGCDF offices.

A 16-yr-old form three boy from a Kabete school was also among those arrested after he was captured on a CCTV footage running away with a Bluetooth speaker. The speaker was also recovered.

In Rironi area of Limuru, Paul Kuria Njenga, 23, was also arrested after he was seen stealing several equipment that he later sold to unsuspecting buyers in Kitengela. The suspects are expected to be arraigned at the Kiambu Law Courts.
