Earlier this month, Nakuru Governor Susan Kihika faced boos during a funeral in Bahati, highlighting an emerging pattern of vocal discontent in public forums. Critics have pointed to unmet promises and economic strains as possible triggers for the increasing public outrage.

Governor Mbarire pleaded with the Embu residents to set aside differences and focus on unity to secure developments for the county. She also defended President Ruto’s active leadership style, urging the public to “get used to” his frequent tours, which she described as essential for grassroots engagement.
