Video Emerges of Luo Man Saying Opiyo Wandayi Not a Luo

A Young Man Challenges Popular Assumptions About Luo Representation in Ruto Government

In a surprising statement, a young man has challenged the prevailing assumption that the Luo people have a significant presence in President William Ruto’s government. Speaking in fluent Kiswahili, the smartly dressed man addressed a small crowd, asserting that none of the individuals who have joined the current administration are actually Luo.

“Contrary to popular belief, the Luo people do not have representation in the current government. Even Raila Odinga, the leading figure often seen as the representative of the Luo community, is actually a Luhya,” he declared.

The young man continued to stir the crowd by claiming that John Mbadi, the nominated Member of Parliament poised to become the Finance Cabinet Secretary, is not Luo either. “John Mbadi is a Suba, which makes him a Bantu, not a Luo,” he explained.

These statements have sparked discussion, highlighting the complex and diverse identities within Kenyan communities and the intricacies of political representation. The man’s remarks have prompted further examination of the ethnic affiliations and backgrounds of political figures in the country.
